good afternoon I've got a wonderful wonderful mood today it has been a good week hasn't uh been an easy week good doesn't always mean easy but it has been productive I've been just having great great things happen this week and this space really celebrates uh something special that we've been working on for a few weeks now in the talks with glitzy tribe and today we've got with us from glitzy tribe our friend Raymond and I will be introducing Raymond here in a minute and picking his brain and hopping in and getting to know all about their project and what they're up to and we've got this space recorded and so I'm going to be pumping this space after and uh you know doing a few giveaway posts with this recorded space as well so uh you guys I also want to give you a heads up up top we've got a giveaway I'll uh give it out live on the space here and I need you to know I am officially out of personal panda does and so this Panda that I'm giving away today it's going to be essentially swept from the floor so pandas are not going to be as easy to come by now these these days so uh participate in that giveaway up there let's get some people uh here in the room with us live if you've got some other projects have them stop in here I'd love to have them see what glitzy tribe is up to with the Asian Television Awards and it's really exciting and uh Raymond I want you to know I'm I'm going to be pumping this space and sending it out to everybody I know you guys are always interested to partner with some other great projects and I'm excited to introduce you to some of my great friends in the space and so I wanted to take this space today just to get all of our questions answered about the Asian Television Awards and with glitzy tribe and I also if anyone is familiar with our spaces I'm like to get to know the person behind the profile pic a little bit so Raymond I'm giving you a heads up I might just ask you a little bit about yourself as well I love the human behind the project and I know you've got a team and it's a it's an awesome team full of uh people doing all sorts of stuff but uh you know the person on the mic sometimes has to take the the personal questions from me sometimes so I'm excited to get to know all about the project but also about the person so a couple announcements before we get right into it we have an amazing amazing month still going on with pandomania it's coming towards the end of the month and I I know that we've had some great giveaways and I don't want you guys to think that that's ever going to come to an end we're always going to have giveaways after giveaway so next month don't think just because we've had an awesome giveaway month this month if that's going to come to an end I have told you we're going to be giving out a free uh vacation with airfare each month and so we'll just have fun to see what else we we tag on to that in October for our giveaways and I will put together a giveaway calendar I'm going to try to be extra organized with our spaces as well and get them scheduled out so that we can have a calendar full of spaces as well so you know what to look forward to and you know with these new panda spaces uh we are focusing on everything and anything and it just so happens that the second guest in these new panda spaces here with us they have an nft project also so it's it's uh going to be fun to have these guests on these Panda spaces every now and then we will have nft projects involved just like glitzy tribe uh but you know sometimes we might have something completely non-nft related and so I'm excited to have a calendar for you guys to look forward to and uh what kind of great content to look forward to with these Panda spaces but without further Ado I want to jump in with our guest and get to know them and what they're up to and obviously we've got a fun partnership in the works with them so we will be revealing what they're up to and what we're up to with them and so Raymond are you there my friend yes good morning for me and I think it's good evening for you it's in the U.S thanks so much yeah it's uh it's approaching evening and good morning to you good sir I'm so excited to have you here on the line with us and uh we'll we'll have a few more people rolling in here but again like like I said I'm gonna be pumping this space afterwards and really uh getting interest from community members and also other projects I know you guys are uh really just doing amazing work and Gathering a lot of interest from all angles so I just am so excited to be involved with you guys and to be uh approached and everything this has been really a fun experience for me because a I didn't know about the Asian Television Awards and B I didn't know you guys were so creative and getting into the web 3 space with it so it's such an exciting experience for me and I've been really excited to share this with our our community and before we kind of get into all the details of that like I said I'd like to know a little bit about you I mean you and I we've chatted and talked about the projects but I'll be honest I I still don't even know much about Raymond the person so I would love to know a little bit about you before we get going if you don't mind maybe just give us a little back story uh maybe what you've done career-wise maybe what you enjoyed even as a kid and what kind of LED you to this moment right here right now and uh I know that could take the full hour but uh yeah I just want to get a you know a synopsis a summary of of Raymond the guy the the man the myth The Legend on the phone on the line with us right now if you don't mind of course of course thanks so much for having me here this morning Lane uh I think it's been fantastic uh finding you in the space here uh we don't we are quite new here in the empty space uh because we we are really traditionally about 2.0 company you know and we are very excited to be working with panamania I think it's a great project uh and we're very proud and happy to be able to book with you uh a bit of updated by myself well you know um I'm over the better part of my career already uh I'm really not no longer that young doing something your guy you know hoping to find experiments in life uh we I've run the Asian TV Awards for 25 years so that this is the indication of uh where am I in my life um I'm Singaporean based in Singapore raised in Singapore but has traveled extensively around the world I I have a degree in uh can you imagine it I have a degree in the electronics engineering specializing in ic design indicator circuit design when in my younger days I design IC chips but I didn't see anything interesting in that job it was kind of boring behind a desktop running on spark machines you know designing npn chips and I never even practiced today's engine the day I graduated I joined the government service and I was with the state department of the Singapore government I was a diplomat for a while and then I got tired of that and I rode ran around and I found a newspaper company and it became a media executive you know I did quite well in my career and at a very young age relatively I was 33 when I was made the general manager of a company and at 35 I became the CEO of an Asian MNC are there this Asian company that I worked with when I was 35 as a CEO for Asia had his headquarters in the U.S although he was a global company and was listed in Amsterdam London and New York it's one of the world's biggest B2B companies uh and in the US it used to be known as Canada's now known as sweet business information so I was the CEO for Asia for the media division uh and I used to come to the US or not my boss then I was based in Rockaway New Jersey and I would come to New York and go down to New Jersey a couple of times a year so I was with them for a number of years uh and just ran their media businesses in Asia you know so I've been in media for 30 years um to give to give our friends in the space and the idea of uh what we do um Asian TV Awards I'm sure everybody in the US would have heard of the Emmys where the equivalent of the Amnesia in the in Asia so just like the enemies were an award-giving body uh in a particularly like this uh this uh business about organizing recognition of talents because uh there are a lot of uh or other economic development in Asia is fairly unbalanced across many countries you know and we like to root for the underdog we'd like to recognize people for achievements and really the media development especially in television production in Asia in the 90s was very far behind that in the west I mean I started I started looking at this in 1997-98 and in 97 98 20 odd years ago

you know that when you watch your program uh you can hear the echo in the background and a lot of the and we were always them watching American American Products American shows watching Japanese content uh Korean K drama have hadn't even existed that right uh uh and and there was a bit of J drama and most of the shoes we watched were American or they were British and maybe a little bit of French and German translated programs but there was literally hardly any real Asian programming and that's when we started the idea of you know why not try and encourage production and to raise excellence and we started uh the awards in 96 we started in a small room in the university in Singapore with 150 people 100 of them being students wearing our t-shirts so that we don't look too lonely in the room you know and then we grew and grew and grew and over the last 27 years it's been 27 years in fact this year as a 27th anniversary of the Asian TV Awards we are now a lifestyle device event uh this year who studied in Manila on 1st of December and we are televised via satellite up to 22 countries we reached 500 million homes across Asia reaching maybe about 2 billion people uh last year we had three million people across Asia watching our show so it's been a long journey you know but that's one of the things I do other than the Asian TV Awards I have business interests in some media companies uh as part of my career growth after I left the MNC I left them maybe when I was in my early 40s I became an Enterprise I started my own media companies uh and today I have business interests in uh several media entities uh one is in a mobile app you know uh one's a digital marketing company actually providing Services uh and then of course we own the Asian TV Awards and we have a little bit of interest in uh in a digital Publishing Company yeah so you know click that shell there's something about me uh only one hour I finish in uh five minutes

wow Raymond what a resume that is incredible and tell me tell me about you know maybe your direct team that you work with because I just have this this Vision right and and I I have this vision of this team you know because we have this this message thread we're chatting with but I just imagine it being huge now you have you you know explaining it and years and uh all these years that you've been doing it can you tell me about your direct team and then maybe about the the whole team in general give us kind of a a uh a chart maybe a flow chart of of kind of how the team works and when did this web 3 idea come to be how did it come to be and how did uh the the team working on the web three stuff specifically form I know that's a lot of questions in one but I hope that makes sense always I think I think first we must take a look at the evolution of how the Asian TV Awards evolved and then we can then understand why we are suddenly in web 3.0 uh like I mentioned just now in 96 97 when we started we were 150 people in the room uh in 2005 you know uh we became a bit more established maybe after eight nine years but we were still in a we were we was dancing to an afternoon event uh we we upgraded from a room uh in a classroom in the university to maybe uh a little bit bigger in a London as a luncheon Awards and then like maybe two 300 people real audience from industry and that took us 10 years to reach all right and then in 2005 I said you know I think we should be an upmarket event like a Gaga dinner right and we went ahead and jumped in and did the gallery with help from the Singapore government uh so I I set up the first Gala dinner for ourselves in 2005 in Shanghai and that and that Journey from the little room in the classroom in the University hotel in Singapore took us 10 years so on our 10th anniversary we became a Ghana leader as a Gala dinner we grew year on year we started with 30 tables 300 people as a Gala dinner and by 2013. we were 650 guys at Marina Bay Sands in Singapore that's like the the epitome of uh entertainment outlets in Asia because Marina Bay Sands run by the science cop it's the largest entertainment and gaming complex in Southeast Asia or in fact always all right and so we became we grew to 65 tables you know in a big convention hall uh and the number of awards grew number of awards we gave away just keep growing

then in 2013 we have an Advisory board over the years then developed by Brazil chairman and CEOs of broadcasters and we sat down and we had a meeting and we said what's next for us in our growth and we said you know we should be a TV show because we represent the television industry now we must remember in 2013 Netflix didn't exist there was no d2c direct streaming there was no Disney plus no Hulu no Amazon Prime it was television right so in 2013 we said let's make our such a TV show since we represent the TV industry and we went ahead and set up a TV show and in the first year in 2013 as a TV show it was really tough nobody wanted us no block has someone to carry the show because they didn't know what the show was they didn't know how long it was they don't know what kind of content we're going to make it was high risk for broadcasters but we found one guy we need to help us I was that was called Fox Entertainment in Asia there was then Fox Entertainment right now they're part of Disney so in 2013 we started and then we just keep keep at it and keep growing so you see the underlying team really about it has been about Innovation keeping pace of the trends and always trying to be ahead of the Curve so in 2013 we started a TV show by now we have 15 broadcasters carrying Us in Asia and we reach half a billion homes but that took us to be where we are today we are now in probably our ninth or 10th edition of our live show right and now after doing this for another 10 years already on the 27th year when I was looking at it last year nft became big and and not only that the the landscape in Asia started changing whether it's in Asia or in the U.S it started changing dramatically content is not being made first for digital and then for terrestrial cable is uh you know in a matter of speaking largely in Decline subsequence are falling many people are subscribing to Netflix uh Amazon Prime and so on and so on and not they're not buying direct from the cable voice anymore right so the world is changing our own audience and grew up with us from starting on 27 years ago our followers are also getting older we need to get hold of new Millennials the new ones who may no longer be watching that screen and we say you know to be relevant and to stay relevant and connected with the world we have to become more digital we have to become where the future is going to be and we believe that will be the matter verse and as our first step into that space we want to engage into engage the web for 3.0 community and look at the way things are being done look at new new technologies new platforms that we can make ourselves more relevant to the new world while retaining the flavor the essence and the Integrity of what we do in the Web 2.0 world and last year we started exploring and we think that this year is the right time for us on our 27th anniversary to be looking at nfts and that's how we started so if you ask us just like anybody else uh we are experimenting with this looking at this um the only difference we have with many other projects is that we are backed by a very established uh and financially capable uh organization we really don't need the money from the nft to run any of the programs in fact when we started this we use our core team from the awards to start the nft program so actually our whole team there are there are 100 employees they're all on salaries you know uh and we funded from all of the financials of the Asian TV Awards so so we may be meeting at a particular price but for us it's not about the money it's about positioning and getting it relevant you know because uh really we don't need the money for nft to run the nft programs yeah so so that's how we started last year we are now also in the midst of uh uh talking to people looking at Technologies because they want to build a metaverse uh so that we can do things both virtual and real and we see a lot of cross followings in that so as an example uh I can have a meta verse where I can have a room for every broadcaster right and they are like 200 of them in Asia so they can put their shoes on it so you can go to their room as an avatar enter the room watch the programs we are connected to maybe a thousand production companies and maybe another 50 to 100 000 companies uh and we can set up rooms for everybody so that performers can do integrated concerts and play in a better place and ready for a lot of people in the music industry that is the New Frontier because you break away from the limitations of a venue you break away from the from the limitations uh and the cost of a ticketing platform and you go direct to Consumer direct or consumer will be the trend We Believe for the next 20 years you know so though these are some of the thinking behind why uh we started with nft for us is to experiment uh and although it's an experiment we take it very very seriously because we put our brand and our reputation on the line for this uh so we have to deliver what we say we will do so that in nutshell is where we are today and the thinking behind why we launch our nfts wow I love that you're so ahead of the curve with other organizations and what they're doing and I think it is really clever uh you know what you're doing uh getting in with the younger generation it's it's important and it has to shift you know I grew up watching TV but my kids are definitely not they're watching they're watching YouTube they're they're loving certain individuals on Tick Tock the whole landscape is changing and how impressive is it that you guys are changing with it so quickly I don't see this kind of adoption happening with big organizations and how powerful is it that you guys do have funding you know so many nft projects come into this game and they tell their Community you know this nft cell is going to be able to provide us with X Y and Z and and everyone says you know once we reach our goal of money and funding that will allow us to then do our goal and I I just don't see those types of projects doing very well anymore I think you do have to come in with a product with something valuable and the the idea that you guys are are funded that the cells don't uh equal you know being able to do what you want to do you can do it regardless and you have the funding to be able to do that that is so powerful that's a really good point and I don't think uh in this nft space enough people realize how business minded a successful nft project has to be you have to follow good business etiquette and have uh good business morals and be able to just do good business and it's really great that you guys are coming into this space with how many years 27

that is so exciting and I I had a question what countries uh does the Asian TV Awards cover is there a certain list or a certain uh broadcasting list or certain networks or how how do you guys pick and choose and then my next question with that was are you guys covering any kind of shows on those networks like uh the the streaming platforms okay uh so two questions but there are actually three answers so in Asia there's an organization there's a non-profit organization called a Swiss Association of broadcasters all right and your Association of broadcasters is actually formed uh by all the national broadcasters in Asia uh so it's a non-profit organization funded by components of all the countries in Asia Pacific okay um unlike the US many broadcasters in Asia are actually government owned right so so you look at uh you look at uh for example uh Malaysia uh there's a there's a national broadcaster there's a national broadcaster in Singapore there's a national broadcaster in uh in the Philippines as a national broadcaster uh say in Taiwan or something um but some of course it doesn't happen to all countries because every countries uh media is actually very uh managed by their governments because Asia is quite different from the US not every country is a democracy of the same level and type as America right uh many of them are still some of them are still uh heavily military driven some are single-party governments um you don't you don't have that level of democracies in the U.S because the institutions are just different so there is a so coming back to this organization they have a list of broad countries that are members uh and they dive definition of Asia Pacific is important so for example obviously it's easy to understand that Japan is part of Asia so our remit is Asia Pacific right it is always The Fringe of Asia Pacific so for example would you actually think of turkey as Asia or european because turkey sits on the border between Europe and turkey and Europe and Asia I've stood on that border with my dad by the way sorry to interrupt I just yeah that was that's a good fun fact and by the way we have participation from Turkish broadcasters who send us programs

we reached to Pakistan we reached to Turkey we reached to Kazakhstan which is Central Asia or Central Asia is Asia right uh obviously we cover all the typical Asian countries uh like China and Japan and Korea and Taiwan and Laos and Vietnam and all that but also downside to the Pacific we are Asia Pacific we cover New Zealand and Australia so we have participation from Museum companies where partition of Australian broadcasters so as you can see our footprint is very very big uh and that is why we have we have such a huge reach uh our show is Kerry via satellite you have to invest satellite it spans probably uh three or four hours of time zones uh and you know we have many broadcast Partners uh we're carry by Formosa tea in Taiwan we carry by uh SCTV Indonesia and so on and so forth yeah so let's answer the first question the the part about uh streamers uh what we call Ott platforms yeah uh or or otherwise known as direct to consumer or direct to home we in the in two years ago many of the shows on Netflix were American in Norwegian there were not a lot of Asian programming maybe three years back don't know a lot of Asian programming and Netflix being the first real Ott platform into Asia had a lot of problems signing up subscribers because as you can imagine English is not the most spoken language in Asia right and so Netflix have a lot of problems trying to push American content and erasing its penetration in Asia his penetration in U.S may be very high but his penalty in Asia is not high and and uh with his things did the right thing he said localization we have to be localized and that's when they invested a lot of money in the local content production what are the rules of submissions to the Asian TV Awards is that you must be Asian your content must be Asian in origin or meant for Asia in other words the IP rights are either owned by an Asian entity all the content is streamed first into Asia so that's important and we have a lot of and now three years later we have quite a number of local and Regional companies like much smaller of course but like Netflix so as an example Amazon Prime is very active in India they do a lot of Indian programming you have Disney plus now in Asia doing original program you have view which is from out on our Hong Kong entity you have uh catch play from our Taiwan and you have uh Z5 in India you got so many so many uh Ott companies in Asia today and they are all doing original programming so the the programming industry in nature is actually very very vibrant uh there are thousands and thousands of hours of content being created just imagine every broadcaster usually would do anything between 500 to 800 hours of original content to keep a network running and there are like 200 broadcasters that tells you the volume of content being produced all right so yes we do get a lot of shows uh although we get a lot of Dramas from all kinds and even the format of Dramas have changed over the years I mean I've seen dramas from in Thailand one episode of drama is typically 90 minutes uh the rest of Asia probably four to 43 to 44 minutes and per episode but on digital you can be as short as five minutes I've seen some some submissions there are like five minute drama series they giving give it to you in bite sizes so a lot of experimentation and a lot of techniques are being used to try and catch the attention span of the Millennials who are short quick and it's how you put your story messaging across in tight format you know so a lot of that is happening in Asia today and really I have found that Asia pushes Trends I went to Japan with with my family when I was in the ninth grade and everybody had a cell phone it blew my mind I was on the train and 14 year olds had their cell phone and their you know their stickers on it and they they had them all personalized and I was like what is happening I'm in the future you know and then 10 years later America finally caught up and kids had their phones it was literally like a decade of Technology when I went over there in the future the toilets were were futuristic For Heaven's Sake it was amazing and um I really think that uh you and your project that's just a easy demonstration of how I think you guys are always ahead of the curve that's so cool and I really I have to uh point out Raymond I sent out some messages to some of my friends and projects and and universally challenged hop and hopped into the room they're one of my good friends in the space I I just wanted to make the introduction to the both of you they've got an awesome project and so uh if you guys want to connect on the back channels I'm I'm going to introduce uh Raymond to my friends in the space and universally challenged is a great project to get a hold of and they've they've got a lot of love in their space as well so uh Raymond answer me this you you have this nft project you're partnering up making connections Making a Splash what what is your ultimate goal with this year with the show and weaving this web 3 project in with it are you uh do you have a a certain size collection that you're hoping to sell out are you hoping you know what are your big goals before the show and what would you like to accomplish and how how can the space how can we uh partner up and collaborate and push this forward to make this this web 3 uh introduction into your organization a success okay uh so many questions so let me organize them a bit in my mind as I as I answer you um I need to get back to to what what our energy actually does and then we will be able to see the relevance to how it ties to Asian TV Awards yes that's that's exactly what we need also is yeah your project you know this is yeah this is a perfect time to to introduce the project and uh tie it all together with how you're how you're uh introducing web three this is exciting thank you all right um for us really the web tree uh after looking a for six to eight months really it is it is not as mysterious as what many people think about it think of I I look at the nft project just like I look at the startup in companies uh by the way I've done many many mnas uh mergers Acquisitions of media companies over the last two decades and we've done a lot of startup Investments I look at an nft project as a startup and and the business rules are the same it's about networking it's about relationships it's about finding Partners it's about vibration except the platform and the mode and the manner you do it in may be different the advantage we of course we bring as you rightly point out the advantage we bring to the table is that we have a very strong Web 2.0 presence we have a strong brand uh we are financially funded and we have a lot of real world partners and resources we can bring to the table so that's one of our distinct uh advantages in this program but what do we want to get out of the nft to me um our presence is very strong in Asia we can probably reach almost any Asian in Asia Pacific but the world is getting smaller and we want to we're going to open up the web triple Community globally so one of our objectives is to reach to out more people in the U.S and in Europe and also in the Middle East and even in Africa to know more of us is about becoming a bit more Global in a perspective while retaining our our Asian Essence uh you can be Asian in your in your product and orientation but your consumers can be donation right so that's some of the thinking we're having now so we want to equip our nft holders uh by giving them privileged access to some of the resources we have so there are three things that we hope that can serve as utilities for our our nft the first is of course we wanted to be able to let our members have access to premium events in Asia that you can buy tickets to example there are many award festivals uh many film festivals the general public cannot get access to we can you can watch the film the films on display at the film festival but you cannot attend the award ceremony at the film festival that's quite not quite possible for the band in the public but because of our Network and our relationships we can do that of course you can give 5 000 people entrance you probably can get dividend about tickets and maybe five or ten or something but you know it's an experience that the money can buy so that's what we can do uh second thing is like I said we are connected to many uh product broadcasters and production companies that make original content in Asia uh whether they are films or their dramas or their talk shows we're connected to a lot of them and I'm assigning one of our team members to start doing curation of interesting projects that we want to take an equity stick in and we can take the equity State maybe 10 15 or 20 and we fractionalize that and give it to our energy holders a chance to participate and invest in it well we don't claim to be any investment Guru and of course as as in all investment advice you have to take this to a pinch of sort but you know we will curate it uh we cannot guarantee success even we can make mistakes in that right but it's an opportunity for you to look at it as a small investment so whether if I fractionalize say 10 of a two million dollar project US dollars right it's a two hundred thousand dollar project that means it's a 200 000 State back to five thousand pieces you know that's like a couple of thousand bucks uh a piece maybe it's a possible by size investment for somebody wanting to take a play at uh as a Content making which is not possible uh you can't you can't participate in a Universal Studios Production for anything right I mean you know uh production is expensive yeah so that's the second thing we do the third thing we do is we have a we have we want to do some social work we have an advocacy that we want to do and you will go back to our roots in 96 97 really at that point in time we didn't even have awards for actors and actresses we were not interested in them we were interested in recognizing the man behind the camera the cameraman would you say in the lighting guy which is the sound guy these are all the guys that don't make it to the screen because the actors and exercise get a lot of Fame but you know actually they cannot be famous without all the guys doing all the hard work in the back end Reckoning them shooting them editing them in this in the putting on the subtitles you need all these people and we first started by recognizing them and and as part of advocacy uh there are two things we're doing one is if you look at our sneak peeks of artwork our artwork for nft is actually done by a group of seven Indie artists uh three from Philippines two from Indonesia one from Nigeria and one from India they are individuals and we want to give them a platform to Showcase their work and so we give them a team we give them some formats and so our our Pro our profile pictures they are 2D actually but they're all done by individuals you know so that's what we do second thing is ten percent of all her [ __ ] that we raise we'll put into a school account and we use it to fund education uh media training we find internships to give the uh the uh the uh financially disadvantaged an opportunity at doing a steam maybe in original country at the broadcaster for skills upgrading and we pay for that you know so that's some of the things we want to do and excuse me keep going I was just going to say that's so cool keep going yeah that's what I was saying so that in essence is what we're trying to achieve all right um and in when you ask about uh the specifics of the drop uh I initially started my thinking that maybe we should do 5 000 uh nfts and if you ask me why 5000 I got no idea it's number approved from the air I could say eight or six twenty or ten but I think five is a good number right that's the first round you know but I know but I find that building the new web triple Community is a challenge for us because I think we don't understand it well enough I think there's a lot more for us to learn uh I I find there are too many promoters out there in the space uh who are not Bona feeding uh of course we we are also conservative in the way uh we work with partners because uh we have to remind for our brand and Heritage we're doing just partner everybody we do a bit of DD on them and we need to find enough people that will understand us willing to work with us and we are willing to work with them you know uh we try not to work with any project that has not been minted because we don't want the one with rockpool it's a problem for us you know so so if you ask me whether that's the right approach uh I don't know I mean just trying this out right but we we can be a bit conservative in a way we look at working with people uh but we do have a number of Partners so we are looking at doing our drop uh in the next couple weeks we will be announcing details soon uh our price is not I think it's uh it's not very high but it's not very low um not because anything but because we want to ensure that the the members of community who actually believe in US will put your money with your mouth is right and believe in it you know so so that's one um so we are looking at so we are looking at maybe a stagger launch we're looking at say uh sometime in October we will put the first our first launch out instead of doing five thousand we're gonna do maybe say a thousand five hundred to make sure it's sold out and we will guarantee the price we'll make sure the price level drops yeah uh and then we will probably do another second launch in November just before the award ceremony in the on the first of December and maybe we'll do another thousand five to two thousand we'll take a look at it we don't want to we don't want to flood the market because to ensure that there is Cassidy and there's value in what we do and we want to protect all the people who invested with us in the nft we want to make sure that Investments are protected so we don't intend to flood the market right so that's the second thing we're looking at meanwhile we are really working on delivering some of our utilities uh we have uh as you know we have a bunch of donkey kicks so we are already creating a line of uh sneakers uh in Partnership just like you have with them uh except that for us uh we are going one step further uh on top of the regular sticker we're doing a very limited uh 20 pass uh there will be celebrity sign because we have a context a lot of celebs so these are Asian stars there was they were signed on the shoe but we will keep the shoe and we may raffle some of it off to our members they're not for sale uh the others are but these 20 they are they are personally signed uh assigned artists merchandise they will give it away all right we also have a collaboration uh with blackberries which is a European fashion house uh they are mid-range fashion house a lot along the lines of say Kenzo or Louis Vuitton for 200 US yeah I mean they are not cheap yeah uh so we are doing a collection of a teddy bear uh it's a premium delivery and we are also launching that as well you know as part of our collaboration so we saw our philosophies when we say we want to give you three tour members we don't wait for the nft to drop and start working already because collaborations take time we're already working on it and when we drop in October by November you can start enjoying it already you know I'm uh I actually just interviewed somebody uh I'm hiring a full-time uh partnership manager whose job is to do nothing but to find collaborations and Partnerships uh whether it's web 3.0 or Web 2.0 products so that they can give utilities to our members to me to me the way I look at utility driven nft they're just like a VIP Club in the VIP Club you want a successful run the successful business club or VP Club you must have a club manager you must have somebody doing programs for your members if you do not do that your Bibles have nothing to do I mean you know so you bought into something that that doesn't deliver and there was the point so we put resources behind that so we're really hiring this guy and we haven't even lost your 950 yet but we work in advance yeah I hope that gives you a feel of what we're thinking that is amazing I love uh you can tell that you're a successful businessman because you are being so honest with the approach and uh I feel like there will never be any kind of over-promising and under delivering with you and your project I feel like you are doing this the right way and I'm really excited to uh I I think what we could do with your project is just get you on a couple of the big spaces that are kind of popular on Twitter right now uh there's kind of a circle of uh nft followers and I think if you hit a few of the big spaces you can kind of catch all the eyeballs in the space uh right now and I'm really excited to take this recording and uh send it out to all my my nft friends uh I think we can really get kind of the current spaces eyeballs on your project really fast and I think people are going to be pretty what's the right word I don't want to say jealous but other projects are going to look at this and be like what the heck you know what I mean I think this is so cool what you guys are doing and um I have a really serious question now Raymond tell me tell me this if I come to one of these events I do not have a tuxedo what am I what am I going to do because that that sounded like a lot of fun but I feel like I will always be underdressed do I need to get myself a tuxedo well that depends on what part of the show you want to be in now

so I give you an idea I'll give you an idea now you must remember uh the entertainment world is all Greece and grammar right it's important to understand that yeah uh Brad Pitt doesn't When Brad Pitt says he wears a a torn jeans I assure you it's not a five dollar pair or ten dollar pair you buy from a second hand shop you know

so the entertainment and celebrity in the sea in Asia is actually uh uh to use the word uh well funded by themselves okay now in the Asian TV Awards there are three categories of tickets we do not sell the tickets the ticket is not for sale you can't buy them yeah uh so is this year we're doing a 1200 seater theater yeah 1 200 tickets of those of those 1200 tickets about a third about just under 400 are what we call VIP tickets VIP tickets you have to be in a tuxedo because because either a tuxedo or you're in a suit right which is the minimum we accept yeah if you or you come fashionably dressed in a jacket you know uh and you are hip otherwise you can't even get entry so I knew I I felt it coming I gotta get dressed up and hey I've got uh keep going but all right I'm excited to tell you something after this okay so so the so the the first 400 tickets the guys the first 100 guys see in front 100 of them will be celebrities and 85 or 80 of them will be walking to wake up at all right so can you imagine we walk we have 80 celebrities from across station Walking Away carpet the combined social media following among all 80 of them I think generally over the years they are probably about 50 60 million already and they'll be posting and quitting because you know celebrities what they do they take photos of themselves and they post right so that's one uh that's after party you get dinner you get cocktails you know you rub shoulders and that's the first one the second one tell about what we call Primo sitting you can come you don't have to come and Tuxedo because you're not going to wrap shoulders is the Stars you don't want to go to the party with them there's no access for you all you do is you watch the show right but you get priority sitting very near them and you are not far from the stage you get a good you get a good view of the show yeah so so that's maybe another 200 tickets and the balance at the bank of what we call the gallery tickets they are mainly for uh given up to sponsors and partners who have their own customers and people they want to entertain and bring right to enjoy a good evening and and you know you come smart casual you come jeans and t-shirt it's okay with us we come in short solution it's fine so depends on where you are in the hall

yeah that's awesome I I'm glad that was actually a relevant question because that that did feed into the different types of uh tickets so that's that's really a fun answer um and I I wanted to tell you Raymond and I don't do this very often uh leaving surprises but I I thought you'd be okay with this one and this is exciting for our community also you know we've been in chats and you you remember about a week ago we ran into a fiasco and my budget grew to it to a crazy number that I I myself also don't like to over promise and under under deliver but hey I've been talking with jifu and we're gonna we're gonna make this happen no matter what however I can be a partner with you guys whatever we need to do we're gonna make it happen I'm so excited about this and with that I you know as a partner I'm just going to be naturally pumped and and stoked on the project and my community knows I just I love pumping my partner projects and so I just wanted to let you know that uh because I you know so the community understands what I'm talking about I told Raymond I said ah I my budget might be tight right now but it's really cool to have connections and that's what's so great about my partnership with jifu is they're a great partner they heard me out they thought it was a great opportunity and you know with me it comes a natural promotion for them and so they're just stoked on it and so we've got we've got plenty of time to I just wanted to to let you know that we're in we're in however we can be involved and Raymond I want to go even if I have to be in the third tier I want to party man and I want to make this happen I whether it's this year or the next I gotta I gotta get to one of these events and if I have to to get a tux I will I will get a tax I'll get you a ticket I'll bring you to the hall awesome oh man yeah we're really excited so I just wanted to cement that uh that you know we're in and and hopefully you know we can we can uh work out a cool you know this this is a great Panda space but I think we've got uh some great time to do some fun stuff and some promotions introduce you to the community uh and and really build some eyeballs out of the current nft space and it kind of comes to a point uh just just to give a little bit of insight from from what I've seen is this is a bear market and every project is getting creative they they kind of reach a ceiling of you know the current eyeballs and as a space we are all kind of coming together right now to try to onboard new people so I I think it's a wonderful wonderful time for you to enter this space because I don't think this bear Market will last forever obviously there there will be another bull market and if that hits man it it's going to be hard for people to catch up that's a hard time to build that's a hard time to to jump in and so I I'm just really excited about your timing and um we we can build it get all the current eyeballs uh I I want your project to be big and successful because uh I I'm involved and I I just really uh love and feel honored when other projects want to be involved with us so I just want to make sure you understand that how uh honored we do feel we we are really excited and uh my my kids they just can't get over the idea that uh an awards show is contacting us it's really exciting for us and so uh we're excited to put in some some work and promote this and Donkey kicks as one of our partners and that was kind of a cool uh you know moment when I found out they were talking to you also it was just one of those small world moments that kind of confirmed uh what a great what a great job you're doing because you know Jay is uh doing great in the space and he he looks into things really well and so I I am just really impressed with already who you're who you're teaming up with and I'm just honored that you guys have decided to work with us in in some some sort of fashion so just excited thank you Raymond thank you thank you angels all of our our order to work with you because you've got a huge successful Community you know and uh we want to work with communities that have got rich because that's important to us but you know come right back to your point about the bear Market uh I've got to study different perspective and you know uh I've gone through a number of recessions in Asia I mean I've gone through quite a number you know stock market booms and bus uh like I said earlier we do mnas and we take a different we take a different perspective to this uh number one we believe in flight to Quality and what that means is when times are bad people gravitate to good projects in my mind whether it's a bad Market or is a bull market uh I don't really look at it I don't really look at uh I don't really look at prices of projects to me it's about you settle to do something you believe in it do it right and the market will take care of itself uh the world is very very big we are talking about one thousand five thousand nfts that's six billion people in the in the world you know uh do I need 50 000 people to mean I don't I only need 1 500 people to meet and can I find a [ __ ] why can I find 1 500 people in a bad Market I think so long as you do a good job uh you promote yourself well and you carry yourself well you do divorce you say you do you will get them you you may not get them today but you sure go get them tomorrow or the day after you know take longer term second thing the market will recover over time and and I think it's an excellent opportunity for our investors if they're coming because they will only see upside plus we will protect them we will never sell a second launch at any price lower than the first we launch because number one we don't need the money right so we will never price it any cheaper the only way the launch will go is the price will keep blowing up second launch dot launch the price will keep going up we will build the market that's how I look at it you know that's really powerful to be able to stand strong uh with your with your sales price I I actually got some good feedback from one of my members really early on when the when uh the bear Market started to creep in one of my members said don't lower your price make sure you stand strong with your price otherwise it's going to bother some of us early buyers and he listed some other reasons and and uh just you know encouraging me to stay strong with the value because the the value was was decreasing anyways with the the price in ethereum anyway so it was like don't don't drop that ethereum price tag so I think that's a good principle to stand by and really at the end of the day you've got that funding that is so cool and Raymond uh again I've I have a couple of really good friends that hopped into the room some other projects and uh Dogecoin ride he organizes Mike he organizes some awesome spaces he's a great contact to have uh uh Jay my best bud with the B collab he's a really great project I'm I'm uh just so you guys know I've got the this amazing group with glitzy tribe and they're doing an nft project and it's all wrapped into the Asian Television Awards so it's really cool and exciting so I'm going to be introducing them to my buddies in in the space and uh we're really going to help them get some eyeballs before they're meant and I want to go to the party I'm so excited Raymond I just can't tell you enough how how great this uh partnership is it's been really great for my psyche for my mood it really is exciting I'm I'm so in love with Asia also I've been to Asia to a different a few different parts and man I'm excited to go back and I had one last question for you Raymond um this is kind of out of left field but before we wrap up it is a question that I that I do have on my mind and and I I wanted to ask it before you wrap up how how do you think you're going to handle uh specifically China with their their you know kind of Crackdown on crypto is that still a a thing and is that anything that you have to worry about because you do have uh you know Chinese uh shows that are on your awards show correct yes and I I something I didn't say about my background earlier I started going to China in 1986. I've been in and out of China maybe I lost count maybe a thousand times by now you know uh and I've watched China grow from 86 to now over the last 33 years I've watched it grown from an impoverished country where overseas Chinese have to send money home to The Villages they have no icons to a dynamic uh uh world's second largest economy today and of course the political system and all that are very different we are we are uh very well connected in the middle space in China we work with many broadcasters we know many senior people and but we are also conversant and we also cognizant of the fact that China is different from everybody else uh simply because it is a top-down hierarchical structure you know uh nft is not my main concern with China I mean to me to me uh nfts will be what they are they will they will they will control they are very Chinese very digitally uh Advanced you know uh in my biggest concern with China is really the Taiwan question because we have a lot of Taiwanese broadcasters also participating it's a delegate political balance I play every year you know uh that's important uh nfts from that perspective I don't really feel that I will move in nft will jeopardize anything because actually the Chinese Community outside of China uh is very strong in the nft space uh there are a lot of Asian buyers who are the Chinese origin obviously and also must remember that in China many of the more uh the wealthier and the better connected and the more Savvy guys actually have vpns that they can climb the great internet firewall there are quite a number of people like that you know so they can't really it's not really easy for them to trade nfts uh but many of them have overseas Holdings and overseas companies there's a lot of Chinese in London there are a lot of Chinese in U.S many of them have studied here have gone back but have left some Roots here behind as well and relationships so so China even in the empty space is not as isolated as we think it is you know uh there's a lot of interest uh and I think there will be Chinese buyers and investors uh it's just how you get to the market to reach them you know but I look at the web people community and to me I mean Chinese in the game is in the game if it's not in the game so be it you know let it develop its own strategy around that uh eventually they will have to reconnect with over uh because the world is is too big not for China to be a blocking after all the Chinese population is only one sixth or maybe at best one-fifth of what the world is right because the voice now touching almost seven billion China is like 1.3 billion and not growing it's drinking you know so look at China I think don't give it too much thought uh we do what we do so long as we don't we don't double in politics we stay with what we say we do we are giving utilities to our members you know and I think that's all right

that's exciting then I you know I have uh our partner our charity partner pandas International uh the work they do they have to work really hand in hand with some Chinese organizations and so they're just almost like terribly afraid to ruin their relationships they won't even let us touch any donations in crypto they were so scared to mess things up so I kind of have maybe an over over dramatic uh version of how much you have to tiptoe but you know I do I do hear about huge telegram groups oh what no what's the uh the the Chinese app

okay yeah yeah there's like huge groups out there on these apps and so I know it exists and I I know the community is out there doing doing the work and so and that's interesting I did have that question on my mind uh so that's that's awesome that you guys are just going forward and you're you're handling your relationships and that is that is an interesting thought to take into account um all of the the roots and the way you said that was really cool uh my brother he does a lot of business in China and it is really impressive the the connections it just spider webs uh his Connections in China they it like was born in Boston you know what I mean like it's just crazy to see uh how impressive the business world is in in China it is impressive but according to you then you're you're saying the population is is shrinking huh yeah because uh you know they have population control uh instituted in the 50s 60s uh and uh I mean it's uh there are a lot of I know a lot of personal experiences about how they enforce that uh so they are facing severe problems of our aging uh simply because you know they have not the the population growth rate has dropped significantly total annual Buffs last year I think maybe was under 10 billion if I remember correctly for for 1.3 billion population it's actually very very low the replacement rate is very low so that's one major problem we are facing uh in fact now they used to say you only allow one child then they say you know you can have two now they're saying as many as you want please give birth you know but it's a it's a it's a reversal of a trend that's really difficult I mean all across Asia I think no one has successfully found a formula to encourage more families to have children it's simply not easy across the obligations the lifestyles have all changed yeah uh so they are declining uh uh birth rate society and aging rapidly uh the traditional pension model in China is also facing severe problems they used to have they used to have a retirement age at 50 for women at 55 for gaps that's actually very low for many European countries and by the West your standards you know you if you retire at 50 I think it's only imaginable right uh I mean a time of forcibly being retired from your job at 50 I think that's uh that's unimaginable in the U.S so today they are also changing you know retirement age has gone up significantly I think it is now touching 60 already yeah simply because you you can't just let go the labor force at this point in time you need the workers to cut the factories running right you know so so they have some uh there are some major uh issues of so also I mean most countries do have different issues but everybody has issues but there are major issue really is about uh Social Security because uh their model basically is that the government takes care of you right because it's a communist system the government's supposed to take care of you and the pension system is a big uh pillar behind that and that's understood because you have fewer and fewer tax paying people and more and more people who are taking money off the system and that becomes a problem

yeah wow yeah that I I think I read an article that the same thing uh is happening in Japan the the population is decreasing really fast and it's affecting real estate it affects a lot of things it's really interesting to to see how you know it I grew up and and in my lifetime populations have shifted that's crazy to think I don't feel like I'm that old but I guess I am so that that's a that's a lot of interesting conversation you're so smart Raymond I feel like I would love to have a three-hour a three-hour space with you you as you can tell I I have a question after question yeah

because because Philippines has a published a hundred million and the median age is 25. half the population in Philippines is below the age of 25. and to us it's the future of you of entertainment you it's hard to it's hard to sell a modern entertainment concept to somebody in their 60s is is you have to be it's like the nft world I mean you look at the average population of say an energy holder I think I don't think the millionaires is 65 you know the public The Village probably in the 20s maybe early 30s right so so Vietnam has 105 venomous 100 million people middle age very low under 30 Philippines 25 only beaten age so there are there are a number of Asian countries that receive robust opportunity you know and we are stopping the communities

and that you have you have one of them encyclopedia brains I can tell you're able to you're able to keep track of all these stats and uh I'm I'm just really excited to have you as a as a colleague now in the space I'm excited to help push your project forward and do as much as I can and introduce you to my friends and get you on some big spaces uh right here next next to you you got Dogecoin ride my buddy Mike he has some spaces uh Jay he just created an amazing inspirational nft program that we've been doing some spaces for so I'm going to introduce you also to uh some other big spaces see if I can't get you in front of uh just kind of the the general audience that's that's happening right now and again I'm so excited to partner with you and uh we bounced some ideas around with some travel and I'm just excited to offer you know the the partial travel novel perks to your to your holders and so I think there's some really creative ways in the market right now to cross-pollinate and cross collaborate and uh I I've been doing that with projects like Jay with the B collab and the inspirational nft program and so um I think you definitely have a mint coming up but I think we have some time to uh to introduce you to to as many of the people in the space as we can I would love to do another uh Jay maybe maybe we can get uh this Saturday we've got a full program but I'll just Yeah in our DMS I'll let you know about all the spaces coming up and I'm I'm a pretty good uh travel agent agent if you will uh getting getting people hooked up I'm literally helping people with travel also with our travel utilities so it's funny my mom was a travel agent growing up so uh I I have it in my blood I guess but uh yeah I'm just so excited Raymond and like I said I have just question after question and I I'm so fascinated by your project uh by the Television Awards and also by you as a human being and that that is a lot behind the project also the human behind uh the profile picture behind the project behind the money behind all of that uh you're just a really cool person and so I'm I'm excited to to have you in the space that you are are wise enough and creative enough and experimental enough to hop into this space with uh with your organization so I I couldn't be more thrilled I do want to give you kind of a last you know take as much time as you want any thoughts that uh I mean friends of friends are friends right uh and you can always explore and see I mean models of collaboration uh there are many some are more in-depth some are some are more casual but you know to get involved so I'm really excited to to just uh introduce you to as many of my friends I'm I'm not an extrovert I think that's what the the nft space is so good for me because I can kind of hide behind a cute panda and uh I've been doing live videos on my Discord and I I don't know I guess I'm trying to drop my ego sure show my face but I am I am getting more extroverted uh in this nft space and talking to people it's just a really great uh space for me to to make friends and be social so I'm excited to to do my my part as a good partner for you guys and uh I also want to let you know and my community know uh in in my Discord I've got a channel called Panda partners and it's a great way uh for us to kind of share uh you know community and what what I let Raymond know is that any of his holders that hop into my Discord they can have a specific role and with that role will come partial perks and so it's it's kind of a cool way I'm I'm just excited to uh uh integrate the the Asian Television Awards uh with our project and and find those connections and the cool thing with our travel is I I think we did find it Raymond I think we can be involved with you and and find some fun ways we don't have cool shoes that uh can pretty models concern but uh yeah we'll we'll definitely uh be involved and I'm just excited to provide some cool giveaways for you guys so that we can be at
