hello good evening I'm so excited we have some people the first Panda space that we have had in a while I've been chatting with Simon and he gave me an idea about a life expectations

so we are recording this space I uh I want to uh make make sure everyone understands and Simon uh you know these Panda spaces that moving forward my goal is to just have great content and bring up incredible people with awesome experiences with professions and expertise and just bless us with amazing content and good interviews and just good thoughts and motivation and so uh Simon Lavelle with dog leans uh I mean the background on Simon is just incredibly impressive as you saw in our post uh we stated Simon Forbes featured executive coach meditation teacher

and so man how how great is it that we have a professional uh in the meditation and coaching uh world uh for executives and been featured in Forbes and also uh uh he is involved in the nft space so what a perfect uh guest that we have on with us today and I'm really excited he's going to guide us through a live meditation session and of course we'll we'll hear a little bit about his nft project but more than anything I'd really really love to get to know Simon we've been chatting and I'm just so incredibly impressed with this person that uh I want to get to know him so Simon uh first of all thank you so much for doing this today I I'm really hoping that we can get a great live crowd and you guys if you can share out the space we'll we'll get more people in here but we have this recorded and I'm also going to make sure that our whole Community can replay this and take part in this if they weren't able to hop on this live so Simon thank you so much and and thanks for being here how are you I'm good I'm doing good thank you I think you're rugging a little bit so you know um there's a little bit crackly on my end I don't know if that's the same for anybody else but you're fine towards the end maybe um I'm not sure if anyone else who's experiencing that but it's great to be here I'm excited for this space to add some value to like you said motivate um share our stories our experiences so that we can all you know be happier we can all achieve more we can you know do good things give back to others I love what you're doing with your project you know it's just um I love this space I love the community I love um the heart of a lot of the people that choose if you know to um to to show up in that way and and I know that from time to time there isn't that but um one thing I've noticed when you are in the right type of spaces um some amazing things can be created in in co-creation and collaboration so I want to thank you for having me here uh the pleasure is all ours I'm really excited and am I going through a little bit better now yeah yeah you're fine okay great yep sometimes I have to find the perfect place in my house uh for these Twitter spaces and once I find it the connection's good so yeah sometimes you have too many sometimes you have too many windows open you know it's like our own mind sometimes there's too many windows yeah so I would really love to dive in before we get into any nft stuff and even before uh you guide us through this really cool meditation that I'm very excited about I know I I just want to get right to it but even more exciting uh for me is to get to know you a little bit more and for our audience to get to know you a little bit and so I would love to just kind of dive into uh your your personal story uh if you don't mind I know that's a little bit different than some spaces but I just love to get to know the person and what led you to this point really you know you're in the nft space you've been featured in Forbes you do meditation you're a coach I mean what got you to to these places if you don't mind me asking um pain honestly um you know the things that I do now and the people that I help now has come a lot from the pain I was in when I was young you know I can remember you know I used to love playing video games and um I used to I used to write this fanzine at school it was called megabyte and uh we used to um put a little disc on the front and we used to sell it in our local shop and um I I pested my way into a job working on video games magazines because that's what I wanted to do you know and um but the sad part of that Journey was that you know I I was heavily bullied when I was a kid it actually started with a teacher and I got kind of ostracized from a group just me being happy and having a lot of fun um you know I sent off this on offense little room to quote unquote watch the wallpaper fall off the wall just for being smiling and having fun right and this angry school teacher so then when I when I turned 13 and I moved into like bigger School um there was this incident that happened to me and basically I brushed past this popular kid at school he said that I touched in it inappropriately which I didn't and then my life became hell because people were shouting at me punching and kicking me when I was you know uh 13 every day that I went into school so you can imagine like this age every single day that you go into school you're being kind of verbally abused you're being physically assaulted and it was kind of held so for me my outlet was actually writing this video games magazine and spending the time you know just I I would you know I would I would leave the classes that I didn't want to be in because of some of the people and I would just go write this magazine and it was kind of crazy in a way because the teachers would allowed it you know they will allow it but I also think that they saw what was happening and they were like let's just allow him to do what he wants to do and I think that that was a gift in my entrepreneurial Journey actually because it allowed me to be creative it allowed me to you know put together something which came from my passion um and then I got a job working on video games magazines when I was 16. I left home and did that I went on that Journey um the challenge also was was that later on I didn't realize at the time that a lot of my you know my trauma that happened from the bullying you know because it I mean it massively affects the nervous system when you have that right because you go into fight or flight to protect yourself and so I I didn't realize at the time that I had trauma and so uh I grew up and in my you know in my um you know when I went into my adult life working as a personal trainer uh I started to get um involved in like addiction so it started with alcohol and then it turned to drugs and then it turned to gambling in fact I had a sequence and the sequence was um I would go out and drink and I would smoke and then I would gamble sorry and then I would take drugs or go out club it Friday night through to Monday oh sorry Sunday Friday from to Sunday and then I I know I would um you know watch a lot of porn and it was this like addiction pattern that I had and I didn't realize why I was stuck and I wanted to be successful I was like you know I want to make a million dollars and I want to do all these cool things but you know I was self-sabotaging and so the life that I wanted wasn't in relation to how I was behaving but I didn't know why and what was going on and and so that was a very painful time you know a very dark time in fact of you know self-discovery and and you know what happened was there was a massive turning point and it was in 2010. I haven't I didn't I've not actually shared this story much on Spaces but it was Christmas 2010 I was meant to be at my and my sister's house for Christmas dinner and I've been partying the night before bear in mind I was a personal trainer by day and a DJ by the weekends right so I was clubbing I was taking these drugs and then it was it was like Christmas Day and I'd not really slept and I walked into the bathroom of my friend's house I looked my bloodshot eyes I looked into her like the sweat dripping down my face and I was like oh crap I've got to be a my sister's house for Christmas dinner and um I I got in the taxi I arrived and like my heart's pounding I'm paranoid if we've ever if anyone's ever taken drugs they'll know what paranoia is when you when you take drugs um and so I arrived at the house and I I knocked on the door I went inside and I just honestly I didn't want to be there right it was like my nephew my niece they wanted they wanted their Uncle to be present but like I didn't I didn't want to be there so I I literally I walked upstairs and I just heard everyone you know downstairs having fun and I got into my uh into my nephew's bed it was uh Thomas the Tank Engine play sheets right uh the bed covers and I just like everyone was downstairs I just I just slept all the way through Christmas Day you know and uh I left that day really ashamed of myself because you know I let people down I also let myself down and I think it was a big turning point for me because I realized like I want to do all these things I want to be successful but my behavior is not matching it I'm out of alignment now of course at the time he didn't use that language that I was out of alignment I just felt like I want to be this place like what I'm doing is not going to get me there right definitely not going to build me a company that I wanted so what happened was I started to um I started to invest in mentors right I started to I shared on the space last night I wanted the pillars of confidence and one of those was like being challenged and I invested it was 5 000 on a credit card it was thirty thousand dollars for the year and um I invested a mentor and he started to challenge me right so I had to shift my beliefs and my confidence in myself and and that's where you know I started to go on a personal development Journey you know discovering people like Tony Robbins and things like meditation I um you know I went to India and did a lot of meditation and I really started to immerse myself in myself because this is what I said I said to myself if I want to be where I want to be then I I've got to commit to being a better man right I have to I have to like go all in because I don't have the energy I don't have the willpower I don't have the courage I don't have the confidence like I'm I'm broken is what my internal language was of course I wasn't I was just using different resources to protect myself and so you know there were so many pivotal moments for me you know and then what happened was was that as my confidence grows I was hiring these girls and coaches to help me like I I mean I started to grow a company I was able to take a company from nothing to a million dollars in 18 months that enabled me to move from England to to California which was my dream and I did that and I got the Ferrari right and I got the big mansion and that was cool but the problem was was that you know all of those things and it's so funny in the nft space because it's like when Lambo and I just laugh at that because it's like well I had Ferrari and I and I let it all go because it didn't make me happy right so it's like it's like um you know I I get it I get why people want it and and I had a conversation today about this which was you know there's nothing wrong with nice cars there is a challenge with it though if you're using it as a source of validation because here's what I would do I would drive my Ferrari in La Jolla California down to the beach just so people could look at me and so it's based on insecurity right so anyway I got all of these things that I thought would make me happy and then in 2018 after doing a lot of meditation after doing a lot of healing I invested 250 000 in my own personal growth um I let all of it go I moved out of the house I gave I gave literally gave away like three thousand dollar watches right I let the let the fancy cars go and I was like like I just don't win anymore because I I realized that it didn't make me happy right and so I downscaled and that's when actually I started to work um more as a I I let a company go work in uh helping personal trainers with their businesses and I started to work more on emotional intelligence with Olympians and some celebrities and founders of companies you know people who had made a lot of money but they weren't happy and so then like I I really started to become hyper fulfilled because I was helping people that were suicidal you know I was hoping people that they had a lot of money but they they couldn't communicate in their relationships and I was helping to repair relationships and and this was all because of the journey that I'd been on by the way I'm not perfect there's still the things that I need to improve on and and it will be like that until the day I die but there's a great amount of satisfaction when you shift and you change and then you help you become the Catalyst of change for others because you do it by example right like how you show up how you treat others like the level of um kindness and consideration that we have to one another and so you know especially in the nft space when I experience a lot of toxicity and drama you know I I it's frustrating but I also understand it because it's like a level of Consciousness this level of self-awareness it's a level of desperation you know and it's there's a lot of honestly the maturity and I think that the space needs to mature I think that the space needs to to um start to really uh slow down and what I mean by that is like really start to consider a what we're saying the projects that we're going into actually reading things understanding things understanding the value understanding the value that we can give and amazing doors can start to open up which I'll explain later with with some of the stuff that's happened in the project that I've been doing so that's a little bit of the journey you know and so my passion is to help people like that's where my heart is I think the ultimate currency is the words you change my life and so I do guided meditations every single day at 10 A.M on my page on another page on my personal page at 4 30 like it's all in on helping people to be happier um and the reason for that is that when we're happier we can do amazing things and I I believe that the ultimate utility there is no better utility period than ourselves because when we grow when we evolve when we become better there's so much that we can do right so yes of course there's amazing utility that we can have within a project but when we become and we develop our utility that's where the magic is

man that was really really good stuff I I asked you to tell us a little bit about your life and man you gave us some really transparent honest vulnerable uh backstory gosh thank you so much that I know uh I'm making a big deal about that but that's not easy for everyone to tell their story like that and to tell it so well I I'm really inspired by your story and I'm really honored that you would be here with us I I appreciate that I think the reason why I don't is because I've gone to that place of not really worrying about what people think because I've kind of got fear out of the day and so you know I one of my most I write for entrepreneur.com and one of I wrote an article called and it's something like I can't remember the title verbatim but it's um the horrific thing that this entrepreneur did on Richard Branson's Island and I wrote this article about when I basically embarrassed myself by doing something so stupid and saying something ridiculous to this woman and it was like it was a pivotal moment for me and I I think that when we get to that point where we can start to share what what's going on and we start to realize that really like we're not all the same but we've got like a backstory we've got we've all got things that we regret we've all got things that we've done that are you know that are silly and stupid but when we understand that by sharing that it actually can really help to release someone from their pain and help them not to feel alone and it's like it just helps I just think it helps and so of course of course it's going to be a struggle I think for a lot of people to share that because there's the fear there's the fear of judgment there's the fear of being um ostracized from a group group to be still to be uh you know to be seen as less than to be seen as inferior than right but but here's what I want to share which is you know and I've said this before on the space and let's let's say this for example that you are in a relationship right and you're going through something and you're hiding it with your partner for example alcohol addiction there's a big difference in hiding it because that's a fear-based action but when you actually bring it to the surface and you say I've got this problem I'm owning it here's my issue I'm working on it and I'm going to work on it until it's gone that is extremely powerful you take power over the challenge and then also what you do to your partner is that you show you show courage right and so instead of holding things back because part of my pain was that I would withhold I would hold back and I wrote a book called The Blackboard does anybody else have a secret and that's that that was one of the most transformational moments of my life because I was holding everything in holding in Secrets kill people every single freaking day and I get really passionate about this because it's so true which is when you hold in your truth when you hold in the things there and you hide things it's like you have these spikes come out of you and that Spike can be the pressure and that Spike can be anxiety that Spike can be like you know just um hatred and anger it's because you've you've held things in you've not expressed yourself you've you've been told that it's weak to express your emotion you know all of these things so it's been just a journey for me to to be vulnerable and to be share these things but not do it from a place of weakness it's coming from a place of power wow I couldn't agree more and just coming from uh my personal experience of being you know vulnerable and open and honest it is it is really healthy and the more that I share with others my journey I find the easier it gets and I find that people appreciate it um and I sure do appreciate what you've told your your journey I relate with a lot about your journey and uh some of your journey I I just couldn't even fathom and I just look up to you for getting through it and I can see now why you are such a strong and successful person uh getting through the things that you did like you did and so this has led you to all sorts of success and what one of the the main things that you've touched on is the guided meditation I've obviously been excited about this I don't want to jump to that when when you're ready but just kind of touching on that what got you into meditation and and like are there certain Styles or you know genres that's a stupid question maybe it's not no it's not your question because everyone has a question and everyone thinks they're meditating wrong and everyone um you know is confused about it and let me simplify things uh for everyone um so I first got into meditation through pain so I was going through anxiety and I found these apps I found um headspace and calm these are two apps that I found and let's be honest right we all know that meditation is good for us but we don't necessarily do it right or we think it's kind of weird or whatever what we have to understand is that you have to start to link meditation to the thing that you want the most right so for example if you want more money uh if you want to be more focused you want to be a happier a better parent right like we have to understand that meditation is basically shutting out the outside world and coming inward so that we can connect with ourselves and when we connect with ourselves we're going to be happier because we're coming home to ourselves and so a lot of people are lost and they are in anxiety and depression like I've healed people through years and years of depression and uh years of you know serious conditions in like six weeks because like it's not just meditation it's other things too but a meditation is a big component of that because another one of my popular articles for the entrepreneur is about the repetition of it so um when you meditate consistently and you go deeper it's like going into a world and you're starting to rip out those things that are holding you back and so what you'll start to find over time is you just don't want to drink right you just don't want those things because you're so connected to you that you don't need the things to soothe you right so um when you're connected to you and you start to um tune in with yourself you start to be you start to be connected with another you don't start to have as much anger and resentment you um you're you're more clear in your thinking you know within entrepreneurs one of the desires is to be more focused and to have better time management but I always share that it's about time management it's about self-management you manage yourself you manage your time you'll be more efficient right I'm a I teach high performance and so that's a big part of that you know I've trained Olympians and so like they want to perform better so people come to me yes in pain but also a lot of people come to me when they they're already at the top of their game and they want to improve and so meditation is a key component of that because it also creates discipline so you have to say like if you don't you know if you can like I say this to people which is like if if you can't spend the time just closing your eyes for a few minutes like really seriously like it just really comes down to you know you probably not loving yourself enough right or just like in your head somebody just we just need to have a wake-up call and understand that it's a superpower right it's not this weak thing that people just do under a tree and it's kind of like this woo-woo thing like I just find that funny because people come to me and they're like this is and then like a week later they're like holy crap like I just my partner just said to me like you're so much more present with the kids or I just had this idea for this business and now I'm taking action on it and I'm not fearful of it and it's like my whole World's opening up and I'm becoming more emotionally intelligent and I'm starting to like think differently about my life and now the anxiety's going away and it's like here you are here's your life that you've been shutting away for so long because you chose to come inward so it's like I'm making meditation cool like I'm not like I'm doing I'm doing epic meditations in my program and I'm guiding people through coaching and and just doing the important work it's the work like you've got to do the work and some of you are going to need to hear this and I'm going to be very passionate you're not doing the freaking work and you need to do the work on yourself you know and it's like you people keep on saying and you keep on repeating the same behavior but it's like you got to do the work and that means coming Inward and spending the time um to care about yourself and just take a pause you know and of course like we're all loving our nfts and getting involved in projects and the sort of fun the challenge also is it's taking us up into our head every day right when you look at the screen you're up in your head you're not in you're not in the space of your heart typically um and so that's what I'm helping people to do on Spaces that's really cool that you you uh mentioned that at the end and tied it into you know what we're doing because I thought this space would be so cool and it is by the way I I feel like we're getting uh you know thousands of dollars worth of Workshop here in this hour this is really awesome um I I just had an idea that we are up in our heads a lot and it feels almost like meditation but the way that we're doing it it's clearly not and so I I really like how you said that that we kind of need to uh slow things down and take a second if we can't take a second to close our eyes like he said man I'm I'm just really pumped up you got me fired up this is awesome yeah and so another one too for a lot of people and this will come as a bit of a a huge level of awareness for a lot of people which is when I when I say to people like you know why don't you meditate and they say I don't have enough time you have to realize self-sabotage and so the re the actual reason why people meditate is not time right it's it's not the time at all time becomes an excuse right if um if a parent and a child goes to a parent and the parents on the computer and the kid says Daddy Daddy can we play and the parents like no I'm busy right and then the second scenario the the child goes to the parents says daddy daddy I've hurt myself and then suddenly the parent starts rushing that the parent has the time we have to start to realize that it's not about time it's about priority and so um you know a lot of people say they don't have the time to meditate this is the real reason why people don't want to meditate they don't want to feel they don't want to feel the feelings of hurt they don't want to feel the things that they shut down by and so meditation for some people is hell because you're forced to feel and so I know today we'll be very impactful for a lot of people because they maybe would have done it for the first time or maybe they're revisiting it and so understand that you might get triggered and that's okay triggers are a great thing by the way they're a signal for transformation um and so you know I'm going to take you on a journey today and just notice you know what happens is you drop in as you slow things down and just it's okay if you have you're gonna have thoughts oh what is over and what's going on why am I thinking that that's your ego that's your false self coming in and you have to observe those thoughts and go oh I notice versus just thinking it's you all right you have to create that separation and so as we drop into the meditation just start to observe and slow down and it doesn't matter if you don't have a breakthrough today may you maybe you have it tomorrow but the key is you keep you keep at it and I guarantee you if you do keep at it you come to my morning meditations or the afternoon meditations or there's more ones that uh that you are brought to you through different programs different this uh you know on these spaces right however you decide to meditate right at some point you're going to start to have these little mini breakthroughs and realizations and it's like really really cool you know because sometimes I'm like I need this idea I need this Clarity and it's like I can't get it I can't get it because I'm up in my head and I slow down I meditate I get it and Oprah calls it the whisper right when we slow down it drops in in fact I'll give you a little secret when you're in the shower the reason why you get ideas is because the shower is the portal of presence but when the water's on your head it's it shuts out your overactive mind and it brings you into the present moment and when you're in the present moment that's when the ideas come in right so there's some little things you guys might not be aware of of why you get ideas and so you've got to be aware of those things because what what are the things you take what are the ideas that you take action on they're the ones typically that come from nowhere and they hit you and it's like boom oh where did that come from yeah that's the thing to look at that's the thing to take action on Greg Braden says it comes without emotion and it comes very direct it's not from the thinking mind it's from the non-thinking mind it's it's the heart and that's all I'm going to do today is get you connected with the most powerful place within you which is your heart and sometimes for some people it's like oh I don't want to say I'm sorry I'm thank you or like I love you right and it's like yeah but that's the heart is the most powerful 50 000 neurons it senses it feels that is to become connected with it

oh man I I think I'm in a good spot what what do you suggest as we're going into this uh do you do you suggest we get comfy is that yeah yeah you don't need a you don't need a meditation pillow you don't need any little bells you don't need any like incense you just need to sit up straight and close your eyes and ideally have like headphones in but that doesn't matter also oh this is really cool see it's like it's like we're just hanging out and uh I just want everyone just to want to meet yourself if you're here um are we ready we're gonna rock and roll this yep I'm I'm gonna mute myself you're not gonna see any uh emojis or reactions from me for a second I know I'm usually popping those off I shouldn't see any emojis from anybody yeah that means if someone's got their eyes open and so you're going to want to open your eyes and if you want to open your eyes you've got a photo to keep those clothes that's discipline so I'm teaching some high performance here which is to be a high performer and understand that your discipline is keeping your eyes shut and being in it okay all right all right close your eyes I'm going I'm going mute I'm ready thank you sir

close your eyes and take a nice deep breath in through the nose out through the nose

sit up nice and straight and every time you breathe out so I want you to start to be very conscious of your breathing

[Music] in through the nose out through the nose and if you need to put your hand on your heart and by doing that that just helps you to connect with that space that you may have forgotten is there

in through the nose out through the nose nice deep breaths and any tension around the neck or shoulders you start to feel starts to release

in through the nose out through the nose foreign

with that area

I want you to imagine that there's a yellow ball of light that's right in the center of your heart

when it's warm it's loving it's pure love and Power and it starts to fill up your up your heart in your chest and your back

[Music] it's starting to fill up your entire body this yellow light

[Music] and this yellow ball of light that starts in your heart that fills your Empire now stop spillover into your home your environment that you're in pure Joy this warm soft energy calming you as it spreads throughout your body and in your home and now spreads over into the city that you're in [Music] and now spreads over into the state that you're in

or the county foreign

on this space that now connects you in your home and your family [Music] now spills over into your state and Country Now starts to spill over into the world and you just start to feel more present and as you're listening to my voice as much as you can hear my words

I want you to notice the space in between my words

and on every out breath you're becoming more calm and just everything is slowing down [Music]

and as you breathe deeper I want you to become aware that your breathing impacts how relaxed you feel when you become more conscious of your breathing your nervous system will become more relaxed take a nice deep breath in the nose out through the nose

and slow everything down

I just want you to be present in this silence for just 20 seconds for a moment

and just stay here with your eyes closed

now [Music] I want you to imagine it in front of you [Music] there's a large futuristic Castle [Music] and you're going to walk towards a huge door

[Music] and in 10 seconds you're gonna put your hand on the door 10 nine eight

seven six five

four three two one as you as you hold your hand on the door knob you start to feel the energy in the room

and you open up the door and you walk inside this huge futuristic castle and You observe what's in the room what do you see [Music] and to the left there's a stairway with a series of steps going down [Music] and what's interesting is that there are 18 inches from the mind to the heart and we're going to take the journey down these steps these futuristic steps and the first step is the step of trust in this step is about you trusting yourself [Music] do you need to trust yourself more do you need to trust others more [Music] what does trust mean to you

you start to hold your body slightly differently knowing that there's always confidence there it's just that you may not be connected to it

[Music] and the next step as you walk down is a step of focus

as you start to become more in tune with your surroundings

and as you go further down and you become more relaxed

you find the step of acceptance [Music] foreign [Music] do you need to accept others more

On To The Next Step of you feeling whole [Music]

[Music] On To The Next Step the step of Health as a reminder that the things that you put in your body impact your thinking you drink

what food you eat [Music] what you listen to [Music] On To The Next Step and this is a step of strength reminding you the power you have and this that you have if you need to call on it at any time

and as we move down onto the next step the step of power understanding that energy brings you power and power should be used for positivity and for good [Music]

and as we move down onto the step of balance sometimes we become out of balance and it's a good reminder to Center ourselves [Music] the next step is the step of consistency knowing that when you do things repeatedly you start to build up your confidence

[Music] and the next step is the step of purpose well it's important to you

what fills up your heart

[Music] and the next step is the step of energy and when you step on this step you feel the energy through your feet moving throughout your body understanding that there is universal energy for you to tap into if you don't feel energized in every given moment [Music]

and On To The Next Step of awareness

reminder that when you come inward when you work on yourself and you become more aware you become a better person it's awareness helps to evolve us [Music] look for the people that help you to become more aware [Music] and do the work that helps you to become a more aware person [Music] and the next step is the step of calm knowing things compulsive behavior is not healthy and calm confidence is a place that you should look to to reach [Music]

next is the step of Courage and the energy of Courage is so powerful what is the thing that you need to do that you've been putting off we all have it when you move into courage and you do that difficult thing you will be on the other side and you'll say to yourself appreciate that a week ago a month ago a year ago [Music]

and next the step of Faith whatever faith means to you reminding you that you can tap into that faith if you just choose to slow down and that can be your guiding nor star

so Simon I have it I have a question do you uh do you enter meditation with any goals and do you uh have any expectations uh I don't have any expectations but the goals might be something in particular because you can theme a meditation according to what you need because you might say uh you know I want to set goals in my meditation or I want my meditation to be about you know helping myself heal with the ex-partner so yeah that you they become intentional so for today my intention was to take people through the 18 inch drop and give variety so that people could start to maybe say well you know the step impacted me the most was this because I guarantee that if if people close their eyes and they went through that most likely one or two of the steps would have felt differently and that's the thing to focus on is some more work to do I love that that's actually really good that you said that because a couple of them definitely stood out to me and that was my next question is uh do you run through that uh in your mind what what are your personal meditation uh do you have something helping guide you or is it all internal and do you include music with your personal meditations uh I vary mine so I don't typically do guided but guiding guided is a good starting point for other people because they struggle without anything and so you typically phase from guided to just music to then nothing and so then you go deeper in that practice and so it's different for everyone and you know in the work that I do and we'll be doing I'm taking three people a lot of Diversified medication meditation because you know one practice over and over again is fine um but there are so many different things for example entrepreneurs and people in uh careers that you know you need diversification of different types of meditation I keep on saying medication and what was what were the steps that stood out for you I'm curious now they'll be curious to hear from anyone else that had any steps that stood out to them love for sure I I think that one is heavy on my mind often uh I've had uh you know when you were telling us your story at the beginning a couple things really stood out to me I've had a couple experiences with my children uh just being open and honest with them and talking about my uh faults and errors and uh man that love yeah just uh I feel really great and that really just opened my eyes to what you said earlier when people are more present with their kids with their wife uh I was I was really uh focusing on them and then my wife was at the door when when you got to that part and so that that one was definitely the uh kind of the and I guess that was the last step so maybe that was just heavy on my mind each one though kind of led to love I was thinking about my my white kids throughout the whole thing beautiful yeah so you know these meditations can be um you know they can give us reminders important reminders they can give us insights on things to do or people to reconnect with or you know forgiveness work that we need to do or reminding us that we can you know move forward and with something that we've maybe put off or hesitated on you know it's just designed to um you know to help us to be to be better you know would you give me permission I'm already recording this um would you give me permission to share this in my community I loved this and also do you recommend you know maybe we're not going to be able to make it to to your live meditation sessions is it okay to go through a recording for example this one uh daily yeah absolutely you can use this as many times as you like um for sure um and um you know whether it's you know the meditations in doglings or the recording here or whether it's on another space or through an app like it's just about doing the practice you know um and not all of them are going to be like the one I did today um you know I I do this one a lot because it really helps people going through the different steps and taking that Journey down through the 18 inch drop but you know a lot of them are very different so everyone's going to get something different every time depending on a lot of things there's there's lots of external factors you know is there distractions around the things that's happening in our life right now you know we sometimes we need a meditation to just calm us down that's a that's another thing I'll say too which is meditation is not just a tool to use when you're stressed that's the basic level of meditation that people go to like I'm stressed I'll meditate I'm anxious or I'm angry I'll meditate you also have to understand that if you feel good when you meditate you're taking yourself up to an another level of Consciousness because you have to see it you have to notice where your Baseline is right so if your Baseline is you're stressed out you're angry of course you meditate but that's going to bring you back to kind of feeling good then most people what they don't do is they don't meditate when they feel good not knowing that if you meditate when you feel good you shift your vibration up in a whole nother Notch and that's where the heightened intuition starts to come in that's when the you know the the creativity starts to access because we enter different brain level States and so we have to go deeper you know that was a fairly short meditation but I've been doing like over an hour two hours maybe in two and a half hours you know sometimes um and so that's you know lots of different come up when you go deeper because the false self the ego it takes a bit of a Time to uh to fall away you know I describe it like a fish tank you know if you put your hands in a fish tank and you you know all the water is kind of um you know um what's it like Dusty yeah um you have to see that like your mind and so you have to wait for things to calm down and settle and for a lot of people that can take 20 to 30 minutes before they even start to enter a different brainwave state

and should people be discouraged if it takes a few times to experience that or uh to to get there or to have any breakthroughs they should be excited by that because they know that there's a breakthrough that's going to come so if you're in a place of like oh screw this and this is frustrating me that's amazing to me that's like so awesome because you're gonna have a big breakthrough that's wonderful I think I think uh some me some people might give up do you give any advice to anyone that uh that might not have you know the endurance to to keep going um set reminders as to why so why do you need to continue right it's like because I want to be a better husband right you find the why behind it so in coaching School creating leverage for somebody right so if it's not yourself then it's find a leverage of someone else you know and so you give the reason like you know and and then um you know put it in your diary and make it a practice and just go back to it and go back to it and understand it if you if you struggle with discipline like you're you're all you're going to continue to be unhappy because discipline creates happiness because it it it retrains the brain you know like discipline of of self-love right like people see it's discipline as a sometimes a negative thing but it's not it's like discipline of taking care of yourself like meant is mental health it's basically it's like you know a lot of people like this is the the basics you know like you gotta if you want to have a great life you got up at the basics in place first and build a strong foundation and there's no there's no more basic than like closing your eyes and just connecting with you you know yeah we don't do it you know and we don't do it because the overactive mind the ego is so active we get pulled off in multiple directions every day on social media and conversations in this computers and you know OCD loops and it's like whoa you know it's like having 20 computer programs open all the day in our head you know so we have to become conscious of that I saw and you know I'm I'm uh over two years sober now from alcohol and just the the dedication and mindfulness and practice that you need to put into you know stopping a behavior that you don't want uh this sounds like almost the exact type of effort into doing something that you do want and it's equally as difficult which is interesting because it's good for you and you're going to it uh get good things out of it but you uh I definitely am going to make a goal to do this daily this was really good for me and I I've been wanting to meditate for a long time and it just is so cool that the timing of this uh the first Panda space I'm bringing this back I'm just I'm really inspired by this and motivated and so I just want to thank you this was good for me I I know uh people have stuck around and I hope people participated in that and I I really am going to share this in my community because this was kind of selfish for me to want to do this so bad I've really wanted to do a meditation session and get into it and I've been wanting to for a long time so this is a really really great thing and and I can't thank you enough I would um love to spend another hour just talking about meditation I have so many questions for you but I would love to also give you an opportunity Simon to tell us about your project and what you have going on with that and anything in the space because obviously we are a community of web 3 people and so it just so happens you know not every speaker I bring up on these Panda spaces will have web 3 projects but you've got a web three project so I would love to give you some time here uh at the end as as we close up to to discuss anything with your nft project yeah so I'll make it pretty brief um you know just for time but you know um a Forbes article came out on on the project a few days ago um which in the title was is merging um you know uh Hollywood storytelling with personal growth and so I'm a coach um and through other projects so I got connected to like I got connected to a Hollywood director who's currently filming with Russell Crowe um and so he's uh advisor of the project and then we have um the actor who played bomber in The Hobbit he's going to be coming in doing creative workshops so doglands is a storytelling project so if you like to create characters and you you know um and I didn't do this for a long time but like create characters build worlds like get involved in how a project evolves it could potentially be a movie or TV series um then there's a storytelling aspect with workshops where we're going to bring in celebrities but like building out the world and so for example like you know what happens if someone mints are common but then something shifts in in the story and that become you know makes one of the other characters more desirable so I'm really excited by that aspect but then also I truly believe that when you build characters and worlds you also can start to learn about yourself and so there's the personal development side with the meditations and also coaching that I'm going to bring in for holders and do you know amas and coaching sessions and breakthrough sessions and interventions because you know when you and people really love that you know in the Discord um you know people love that there's there's both sides there's the creativity of it and then there's also the personal development side and so we met October 3rd 500 free and it's going to be in one phase um and then there's 2 000 Supply um I can uh I can pin the the pre-mint at the top um and you know I'm just excited for the you know the things that we've had even pre-mint happen the Forbes article the celebrity connections we've already got board apes they're going to be minting um the uh the collection and I also see the collection as um a series of movies you know like um the first collection being doglions but then that's like the first Star Wars and so then the community will grow the the project through the that character development and through the stories and then the second collection will be really created from How The Story evolves and that's what's exciting to me about the uh the uh the storytelling and the personal growth together and then we have a dream room and so like I've been doing these one-to-one calls with the community and finding out and there's a channel in the group of what's your dream and the reason for that is is that I've got connections I've got things that I can bring in and like I want to know what people's dreams are right and how my mission is to help people with dreams come true whether that's you know part of the project that could evolve into something or uh stay accountable to you also I'm gonna do a daily meditation that was really good for me and I don't I don't think it was just Placebo that I was excited or that this is you know a space I'm hosting that was really beneficial for me so I just wanted to make sure uh that you you felt my sincere thank you for that that was amazing yeah 10 10 EST on my page is a daily meditation very short like 15 10 15 minutes and then 4 30 as well I do it over and another on my personal page but it's via doglings two which is 430 EST so there's daily ones you know and as you said listen to the recording but it's good to get variety and be around and I think in in life spaces I'm happy to do another one and come back around and do some coaching with some people like I'm just you know here to help so I love what you're doing um I love this community and you know I I just love the Breakthrough stories like someone came onto a live meditation the other day and they were like oh my god I've not meditated before and it's like oh my God that was amazing it really helped me and then someone showed up to a coaching space I did and they've like showed up better as the father and now they took their wife on a date that they didn't do in years and it's just like there's breakthrough after breakthrough and it's just like this is such a cool space to do it in you know um and I said we all can improve like me included you know like I need to be challenged I need to um to um you know have my level aware of awareness increased like it's it's never ending you know and and this is what happens when you if you meditate consistently right and you show up consistently all start to happen is you'll you'll be on the other side there and you'll be like wow I just feel so much better now normally it's my default like like I can I can't believe that I feel this way you know and uh and then people start to notice you know like when you go to the gym and someone's like oh you lost weight right well now I want people start to say is like oh you're just cooler you're calmer you're like happier you're more goofy like you you used to be or whatever you know and there's no better gift than that man that's so true that's almost a better compliment than a physical appearance complimentals so so I I would love to take you up on the offer uh anytime we can organize a space with you especially with your mint coming up if I can help out with organizing uh some other projects whatever we can do we've got a really great Community we we don't uh always organize uh in one space at one time we got people in different uh time zones so what I'm really also excited about is to share this in my Discord and get some breakthrough stories so I I want to come prepared next time with some exciting breakthrough stories so we have a mental health Channel you know we really like to focus on health also uh just physical health mental health it's also important and so I think this will be really cool we've got a community that's really open uh and transparent with mental health issues and so we've got a really cool safe space that I think this just fits really well with with our Vibe and with our mission of uh just trying to help people out and so I'm always just blown away that people like you exist and that you're willing to share your time and talents and I just am really really uh stop being afraid to reach out to people when you have an idea because like some of the people that I've got connect some of the things some people might think you know how did you do that me and Richard Branson go into his Island meeting these directors like these celebrities like it's because like I got fear out of my body and I'm just like if it comes up I just go and I move and you just gotta do it like it's like feel it do it feel it do it versus feel it feel the fear shut it down we had in that pan a lot and I know that we just a lot of us we get stuck in our heads and we overthink we think we're not good enough and people won't like it but you especially in this space you add value to people and people need help right you add value something called and help and like doors will open that you didn't think possible so just go for it my advice is go for it
